See this is the kind of shit that pisses me off when I read about it, which is the reason I started my blog I guess. Everybody is entitled to their opinion.
Why can Hollywood producers depict violence sex in a movie, and it's called entertainment? yet when we do it in the adult entertainment business it's "demeaning to women"
  We are all here to make a buck and bring entertainment to the masses. Yeah, not everybody think like I do, but that's why they are no longer in the business.
For those that don't know; "it is called ACTING people"... Acting.. wow, imagine that concept!!!. Nothing that happens in the adult videos is against the model's consent. It's all pre-mediated to entertain the people that demand AND pay for that visual entertainment......

GGRRRRRR... ok, I'm going to stop here before I get sidetracked and really pissed off about this stupidity against normal people in the adult industry that strive for the best.
My new girlfriend is NOT in the adult industry, but she's smart enough to know that it's "ACTING". The best way I was able to explain it to her was to show her one of my own movies and let her make her own decision. When the movie was over, she said that she was horny and to fuck her. When I asked her why now she trusts me, she said: "because you don't look at those girls the way you look at me when you make love to me"...
Now give me my goddamn oscar for being an actor.. oh wait, sorry, I can't win one because what I do to earn an honest living is demeaning to women... gggrrrrrrrr

yeah i know what you mean.  a classic example is max hardcore.  now, i do NOT like his stuff.  its a little too rough for me, he's pretty nasty, etc.  all i hear about him is how terrible he is to the girls.  it really comes down to this real black and white argument:

every girl in the industry knows who max hardcore is and what kind of movies he makes.  they KNOW this when they contact his or he contacts a girl.  its the girl who is deciding and willing to work in a max hardcore movie.  to say he is objecting women who voluntarily work for him is asinine.  i think it blows people mind that some girls do like rough sex, some women do like spanking, slapping, choking, urine, etc.  as a matter of fact, a lot do!  some of those women choose to work in what they like, and some do like the max hardcore stuff and are more than fine working for him.

i think its safe to say that this industry actually gives the power to the women.  the girls decide what they will and will not do every time they go over a contract before filming.  they actually call the shots.  there are so many companies and sites out there that they can pick and choose who they work for.  the porn industry is massive, there are so many options for the girls.

like i said, i dont like him.  but i choose what i will and will not watch.  the beauty of this industry is there's something for everyone, so i watch what i like, and skip what i dont.  its as easy as that!

So very well said... I personally I'm friends with 4 girls in the industry that have actually worked with Max and LOVED IT.. not only the work, but him as a person. They told me over and over again how very respectful he is to the women, and how of an unbelievable sweet guy he is. And why wouldn't he? he was bringing in more than a 1.4M per year just from his website and DVD's. The guy was providing a product the he knew people wanted to see. Was he pushing the envelope? abso-fucking-lutely he was, and he would tell you he would push the envelope. He wouldn't be an entrepreneurial visionary if he didn't. Yeah, as a business man, I look up to Paul Little (max hardcore), did I jerk off to his movies before I got into this business? hell yeah I did!! he worked with the best girls next door out there. Granted, I didn't like ALL of his shit, but as you said creamydreamer, if I didn't like what I rented, I would just go back to the store and rent something else. It's our choice what we want to watch, and it shouldn't be left up to the government to dictate what we do in our private life....

Like in ordinary movies, some ain't for the masses. I mean I love horror flicks and some of those can be pretty visual, SAW, Turista, Hostel, Antichrist even for my taste. Not my taste maybe, but do I think they're real? NO! The same here, it's acting..acting acting. The germans can be pretty stuck up their arses though, but the paradox there are that the pornmovies from that country are maybe the most "hardcore" ones out there.
